Excellent location for NEC halls and the small shopping centre with a good choice of restaurants close by. Room comfortable and clean if a little pricey. Service great from Front Desk onwards. Breakfast choice was excellent with great variety.

Great location good food very friendly staff and nothing too much trouble. Very comfortable room and nice fresh smell unlike some hotel and really good power shower. Good choice of drinks on offer with your meal

We picked this hotel due to its inclusion in the NEC complex, near the airport and within walking distance from the NEC rail station. Primary issue was their assignment of our room directly overlooking the bar's patio and outside smoking point. The bar crowd gathered below our second floor window and were going strong on loud conversation. We complained twice to the front desk before they offered to move us to a quieter room. So at 11:30 PM we gathered up our belongings and trekked to another room. We might add that the hotel did not seem to be busy.
Other service items were just OK. They offer a business center computer location but it doesn't have a printer. We had to download boarding passes, then email them to reception desk for printing.

Room tip: Stay away from room 126.

We had emailed ahead for a quiet room as our 7 year old daughter had had chemo on the morning of our arrival. We stayed for 3 nights for a family respite break. Staff on reception were extremely welcoming and we very surprised that the girls had games and we had a fruit bowl in our room on arrival...a lovely touch and greatfully received due to the circumstances. Room was clean with everything we needed for our stay. Lots of construction going on around the hotel but it didn’t affect our stay. Bar offered good choices and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant. 10/10 for us and hopefully we will return.

My room was fine and roomy. Staff were helpful and the bar meal was great. Breakfast was also good with a nice range of options and ability to order from a menu at an extra charge. It’s a bit tired for what it’s charging, but maybe has a captive market with NEC events that mean its last in the upgrade list. I had forgotten property on check out, which is my fault, but, why I marked it down is the 6 calls with no returned message and no reception staff able to problem solve on getting housekeeping to respond. Got to have a better system. Only on call 7, 48 hrs later after I complained did they put me through to someone housekeeping’s mobile, who was clearly caught off guard. At £0.13 per min extra they charge to call, it’s a bit unfair. I suspect the housekeeping team are working flat out and so this is the wrong lost property approach for them and customers.
