Spent the night in this hotel with my partner prior to catching a flight from Birmingham airport the next day. Hotel was clean, tidy and acceptable for what we wanted. However after going to bed my pregnant partner was awoken in the middle of the night by music, people talking loudly and the smell of cannabis sepping into the room. When I woke up not long after the smell was unbearable, considering my partner hasn’t even had alocohol for 5 months she was now being subjected to inhaling some dirty druggies second hand cannabis smoke! Raging isn’t the word, we packed up there and then and left for the airport early. Waste of money for what we wanted, dirty and disgusting! On leaving the night manager told us we should have rang, however we left that quickly no phone call was needed as on leaving the whole 3rd floor was still stinking and culprits still awake and doing drugs! Official complaint has been made to Holiday Inn!!!!!!

The hotel has a zero tolerance with regards to drugs. Corridor checks are completed periodically throughout the night by our night team.

Any reports of noise or disruption by guests is immediately investigated and acted upon. If any guests are found to be using drugs in the hotel, the police are called and the guests are asked to leave the hotel.

I am sorry to read that your stay was disrupted. I have met with the night team on duty and they have advised me that no issues were raised during that night, if they had been made aware, the matter would have been dealt with.

friendly welcome at check in at reception from kirsty (think the staffs name was). we was given the two booked rooms which upon entry were twins. after a visit back to reception this was rectified by both Kirsty and Luke, we were made to feel very welcome.
rooms were of decent size, clean and modern with comfy well presented beds.
rooms was booked for a last minute wedding suprise for my cousin and her husband.
breakfast in the morning was tasty and well presented in a buffet style.
price paid for our night at the holiday inn near to the wedding reception i feel was good value as the rooms were pleasant, clean modern hotel with decent breakfast.
From our experience here we would be happy to try another holiday inn express.

Stayed here overnight prior to flying from Birmingham, not the best holiday Inn we have used, and won't use this one again, only food available was cheese pizza, or sandwich/crisps from a vending machine, room very noisy and poor sleep

First of all, thank you very much for your recent stay at our Holiday Inn Express Birmingham - Castle Bromwich,

Sincerely apologize for the inconveniences caused during your stay as you did not enjoy your overall experience with us, especially with the Restaurant, room comfort and sleep quality.

Unfortunately our Restaurant does only serve Pizza and we do apologize for the inconvenience.

We do hope you will visit us again despite this experience, and give us another opportunity to serve you in the future.

Nice hotel does the job. Clean and tidy friendly staff however the carpark is not secure I parked my car on Friday night and came to use it Saturday and it had been stolen all that was left was a lot of broken glass

We booked in for the 1st Day of England v India test match and the staff could not have been more helpful if they tried. When we arrived they changed us from a double with a sofa bed to a double with a single bed, as we had our young 4 year old daughter with us. The room was clean and the single bed was comfortable.

The only time have a given a holiday inn 10/10
