I stayed here for a week with work. The hotel is dated, and in need of renovating, however the bed was comfortable and the room spacious with a large sized smart television. The room does look like something from the 70s and the shower was pitiful however I did only pay £60 a night for bed and breakfast.
The breakfast was good, fairly good range of foods from cereals to pastries, and a decent cooked breakfast.
The service is lacking in the hotel restaurant and can be mixed at reception depending on how serves you.
Sheila at breakfast is a legend, and although their are other staff around it does feel like she runs that place with her friendly approachable persona. Like I said in the title you pay for what you get and for £60 it wasn’t that bad. More
