Set in a beautiful landscaped garden, within just 1 mile walk of Cadbury World, Woodbrooke has to be one of the the most memorable places we have ever stayed.
It is peaceful and relaxing with lots of space.
We had a family break with our Daughter and two Grandchildren of 5 and 3.
Cadbury World, Birmingham Nature Park and Drayton Manor Theme Park were all packed into our four day stay at Woodbrooke. And in the daytime and evening we had the space and freedom of the grounds for the children to explore.
We were also able to use the Art Room one evening for the children to enjoy some painting.
There were no TV's in our bedrooms, but we were able to watch a DVD of Beauty and the Beast in one of the lovely TV rooms.
The Breakfasts and Evening Meals were very impressive: buffet style with choice for vegetarians.
Maybe not the kind of place for those looking for a wild nightlife, or noisy entertainment.
Ideal for little children and Families that want peace and tranquility.
May also appeal to the single traveler or buisness person who is looking for something special.
Particularly suitable for the single female traveler.
All the people we met at Woodbrooke were kind and generous with their time.
Already we are planning a return visit for 2010.
