You need a code to enter the property initially. I was a bit worried that it might not work but it did so a good start. Flat was comfortably furnished with a nice kitchenette with dish washer and washing machine. Enough basic cookware to do simple meals. The TV didn't work - there was a number you could ring out of hours if you had a problem but I didn't bother as I wasn't that concerned about watching telly.
The bathroom was lovely with both a bath and a shower although my colleague in the next room only had a shower so I guess it's luck which you get.
The only reason I'd not stay there again is the noise at night. Being city centre you expect a bit of noise, and I've stayed in the area quite a lot so wasn't expecting silence but there were glass skips in the street below which were being filled and emptied throughout the night, someone decided to have a screaming match for a couple of hours outside and then just as I'd got to sleep the dawn chorus started (who knew there were so many seagulls in Birmingham!) which included bird fights over the rubbish that had been left from the skips. So after an hour or two of sleep the flat lost its charm somewhat.
If you can sleep through noise I'd highly recommend these apartments. If you can't then you'll be disappointed with your stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet area if they have one!

Where to start. Code to get in didn't work. Three guesses later by the guy on the end of the emergency phone number eventually got us in. Then, well it's just not very nice. I'd like to say something positive, but I can't think of anything. Seems like it's just for people going out on the town and coming back drunk. Conveniently located for that, but can't say I'll ever go back.

Stayed over night, in a bright airy apartment. Great bed, TV, WiFi and ideal kitchen if needed. Check in was simple and works well...... Super location, but a little noise from bar across the road, but it is still worth a visit. Had an issue with tap dripping and unable to turn off, simple phone call and positive response

we stayed in birmingham for 4 nights and chose an apartment for a bit more space. We chose the smaller of the rooms and it was fine for us. Great location, easy access from train station, bit of a walk from the bus station - not impossible .. just tedious with suitcases. Easy to get to shops, supermarket, museum etc from this apartment. The wifi was excellent, and the kitchen fit out was very good - plenty of food options from the supermarket around the corner.
The apartment was warm and there was a small balcony, plus the building has a rooftop area which we didn't visit due to the weather.
Any of the staff we met were very helpful. there are a couple of chairs you can wait in the building foyer for check-in. Lift is very quick.
There were a few negatives ... - the TV was small (but then so was the room), the leather couch although clean and very comfy had seen better days and the mattress on the bed was saggy.
other reviews note a bit of noise from laneway - bins and people. i agree you can hear bottles going into bins, and the odd conversation but over the 4 nights we stayed there , i have to admit that the noise was bearable and infrequent.

I just needed a bed for the night for a function at the Town Hall, and this was much cheaper than the local hotels. My apartment had a balcony and was very well equipped including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and oven so would have been ideal for longer stays. It was looking a bit tired in places and the hot water failed during the night. However, the really negative point is the entrance security. The property is unmanned so you get a security code by email which gives you access to the front door and wall safe which has your entrance keys. What none of the paperwork explains is that the security code changes at midnight after which you need to use the keyfob to open the front door, this will catch you out if you stay out late and if you pop out for breakfast - so take note and be warned!
