Harrington’s is always consistently great in every way; wonderfully friendly welcomes, both recognising & appreciating our repeat frequent business, along with super attentive yet informal service & the most beautifully presented & utterly delicious food Fayre.
The decor & style feels very much bistro-esque, almost like an authentic, rustic French eatery, typical of France where auberge suppers & fixe prix menus are upon offer & whether it’s a Sunday luncheon, lunchtime treat or dinner, there’s something for all tastes!
Their Sunday luncheon is amazing value at less than £19 per head for three courses is always incredibly well presented & enjoyable, especially given the exceptional quality & varied choice; the succulent roast pork & crunchy crackling last Sunday was perfectly cooked, the Yorkshire puddings were enormous, fluffy & crispy to the edge, served with mouth-wateringly good, medium rare, roast beef, which was beyond satisfying & the ultimate comfort food upon a chilly, rainy afternoon.
My go-to irresistible starter is always the chicken & ham terrine, served upon a bed of dressed leaves & wonderfully fresh, warm bread, is always thoroughly impressive, entirely delicious & seriously gives Raymond Blanc’s similar version, a run for his money!
Big thanks to the wonderful Katie, whom is always unfailingly hospitable & professional & whom works tirelessly to provide consistently excellent customer service, whereby nothing is too much trouble, which takes serious organisation upon her part to coordinate & operate a slick & efficient service when the restaurant is exceptionally busy & at full capacity. Thank you so much & see you soon.
