We visited here with 2 other couples, each of us booked into the suites in the onsite accommodation. The suites were amazing! Each had a separate living area, large bedroom and huge bathroom with large bath and separate rain shower. The men played golf on the Championship Colt course - where the British Masters is being played later this year - which was in great condition but is very, very hilly! Nonetheless it was an enjoyable 18 holes. Given it's really geared up as a golf course, and given there is limited accommodation, then it's no real surprise that there are no other facilities the ladies could make use of whilst the guys were golfing - no facility other than a huge sunny terrace which was the perfect place to sip G&T all afternoon! Dinner was very good and reasonably priced. The wine list is pretty limited but what they had was fine. Breakfast was great with various options along the normal lines. Great value and a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The only thing that would prevent us returning is the hills on the golf course.

From the time we arrived to the time we left we were looked after impeccably. we stayed in the converted stables and the room was exquisite. exceptionally clean and comfortable. Restaurant food was stunning. We played the filly course first then the colt. Unfortunately it rained all the time we played the colt course so really didn't appreciate it's worth...as we got absolutely soaked....however we intend retuning at some point to replay it. As we had to leave early, due to a funeral, the chef even gave us an early breakfast which we really appreciated. Staff very polite and smart.
