I popped into the Jesmond dene house for some dinner the other Sunday as it isn’t far from the city centre and has lovely scenery and not only that but the food was top draw but the service was even better !! Forgive me as I am not too good with names but I think the going lad was called Chris? He was so lovely and seemed very happy to sit and chat to me and my kids and made us feel very welcome and if things couldn’t get any better as we were leaving we see the Newcastle manager in the car park !! Will be returning very very soon

The hotel is a delight. A tastefully restored 19th century mansion house offering every modern day comfort without losing it's soul. Interesting paintings and artifacts from local artists are dotted about and are worth lingering over. There are a number of beautifully furnished public rooms to relax in and plenty of attentive staff to look after you. We had a Classic room which was perfect. Looking forward to going back one day soon.

Loved this hotel nice and quiet and in a lovely position. Great grounds and the rooms are of a very high standard, not the usual mass market style. First time staying here and would highly recommend it. Spotlessly clean and great service. Not too far from centre of Jesmond in a quiet spot with plenty of car parking.

Beautiful room and bathroom in this gem of a hotel, really nice staff and dinner and breakfast was all you needed. First time staying here and will definitely stay again. It is outside of the City Centre so much quieter and more relaxed than the big chains in the middle of the town.

Spend two nights for wedding anniversary and had a really enjoyable time. Room was great quirky clean and away from the main hotel. Good walks in Jesmond and easy access to Newcastle via the the Metro.

Restaurant great and staff very helpful would definitely go back
