Stayed one night ahead of a cruise 2 weeks ago, we were booked in by a lovely chap called Derek, we were grumpy as it was raining hard and we were wet though but he lifted our mood with his friendly humour refering to my husband Richard as Ricardo during some banter we had with him, he took the time to find my membership details i had forgotten nothing was too much trouble, next our room which was clean and very comfy no complaints from us all good, next we decided to go out to find a place to eat still heavy rain, and as we got to the door Derek came up to us with a umbrella for us to borrow, Gold star to Derek excellent customer service

Stayed overnight here. We have been before. We find this really convenient for overnight stays as it is close to the Central Station and you can walk all over the City from here. Reception was good with friendly and helpful staff. Staff advised on the multi storey car park - you pay until 5 pm when the car park is free so we arrived around 430 pm on the Saturday and were leaving on the Sunday so for £3.50 we had an overnight stay. Our room was spacious and clean. Bed was big and very comfortable. Tea and coffee making in the room. Breakfast was very good. Self service and a buffet selection of both hot and cold foods. Excellent selection. I love porridge and they have moved over pots rather than home made. However, this was nicer than it looked. Check out was very good. Really good, excellent value, would definitely recommend.

Modern hotel with friendly staff. Our room included a couch for extra seating. Firm and soft pillows available for bed..take your pick. Clean bathroom with body wash/shampoo dispenser in shower AND a water closet. Good English breakfast, although I wasn't crazy about the scrambled eggs. Liked the espresso/coffee/chocolate machine. Close walk to hotel from train station. Restaurants nearby (recommend Blackfriars and the Purple Bear restaurants and the Bridge Hotel pub).

We stayed for one night at this hotel and had a really enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean and the beds are really comfy. The bathroom was clean and modern. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. We got a decent breakfast in the morning. Considering the hotel is located right in the city centre next to the night clubs and main roads I found it to be surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Also it was a short walk from the night life, no need for taxis! Would stay again and highly recommend.

Stayed at this hotel for one night as had to be at the RVI hospital early the following day. Stayed in a wheelchair accessible twin room. The room was lovely, big, stylish and clean, the bathroom was brilliantly fitted with helpful rails and was huge. The beds were very comfy. The reception staff and breakfast staff were so helpful, and considerate of my needs. The multi story car park right next door made parking so easy and was very reasonably!y priced. The location was very central, but quiet. I am going to book again for my next hospital visit in December as it suited my needs perfectly and made what could've been a stressful occasion feel more like a mini break.
