Stayed here after a show at the metro arena and not only was the location perfect for walking to the arena but it was also perfectly situated for other amenities/going shopping at the intu Eldon Square.

The hotel itself was lovely and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The mini bar with a few free drinks and snacks was a really lovely touch! The room was immaculate and I would certainly stay here if I find myself in Newcastle again!

The only downside was the parking, the spaces were minuscule and a real struggle to get in to, even in a tiny car! Hotel comes highly recommended, the parking certainly does not!

This was a weekend treat from my husband for my birthday, as we have stayed on several occasions and always been very happy with it. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and the rooms nicely decorated and have good bathrooms.
Breakfast has a good choice and they do some lovely cocktails. A nice touch was a Happy Birthday chocolate when we checked in, and a Happy Birthday plate in the room - thank you.. We will be returning very soon.
If you are staying on a Saturday night, walk down to the Quayside on Sunday morning where there is a small market - just right for clearing your head.

We booked a room here at the last minute as our flight to London for our cruise around the British Isles had been cancelled literally hours before we were to leave. All other flights were unavailable so we had to fly the next day and get to Newcastle to catch up with our ship.

Indigo is a lovely hotel, with large rooms, comfortable beds, included Internet, and a wonderful complimentary breakfast, located in the middle of the old part of Newcastle. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful getting us into our room with minimal delays despite our early morning arrival. The warm cookies when we arrived didn’t hurt either. The concierge staff were wonderful arranging for taxi service to our ship the following morning. All-in-all, we were very happy with our accommodations here.

We only stayed at Hotel Indigo one night but it was a great night’s stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, quick to get us checked in and offered to book us into the Marco Pierre White restaurant downstairs, but we had already booked at a different restaurant in the city.
The room itself was clean, modern and welcoming. The shower in the bathroom was also spotless and a great water pressure. Thanks for a wonderful stay- we would definitely return.
