Cannot fault all aspects of the hotel from the staff to the facilities, it’s certainly well worth the money
Twin room was big & ticked all the boxes for a pleasant stay
Special mention of the COVID measures in place which merits 10/10
Staff could not have been nicer and will certainly stay again , breakfast was first class and we had a meal in the pub attached to the hotel and certainly represented value for money

We check in this morning after a long drive with my 9 years old we were so tired. We arrived about 7 in the morning, receptionist Laura was what you will call excellent hospitality!!!! Such a lovely welcome, she made our room arrangements promptly and made sure we got our breakfast before we put our head down after such a long drive. She was so helpful , such a lovely personality. Clean, beautiful room lovely breakfast. You couldn’t tell she had a busy long night at work

Stayed during Covid-19 and was really pleased with how we were looked after. Room was clean and well resourced. We had booked a family room but on arrival they had moved us to two adjoining rooms to provide more space for the 4 of us. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were able to cater for a milk allergy (better than a bigger chain we stayed in on our trip!) with our breakfast. Food in the attached bar/restaurant for dinner was delicious and the chefs were great in supporting allergy needs. Excellent value stay. Having normally stayed in a well known chain previously (Hilton) this hotel reassured us we dont always have to do this! Would recommend :)

We cannot thank the hotel enough for their help during 2 visits, excellent breakfasts and meals but let down twice when the restaurant wasn't open on two nights resulting in having to find alternative venues. Particular praise to the night receptionist when my wife was taken ill and needed to go to hospital, his helf was invauable.
The hotel is very clean. good value and idealy positioned.

Room tip: Rooms overlooking the car park are quiter

On 29 February 12 of us had booked to stay for the night here. The hotel is 1.7 miles £8.40 from train station. On arrival, check in was easy and staff very helpful. The room was clean and spacious with a tv, kettle clean towels and comfy pillows. The only slight issue, was the key cards didn’t work first time but a couple of swipes and you was in. Toiletries are provided in shower, and biscuits with your brew kit. The staff I couldn’t fault at all, ordering taxis into town which was on time to the breakfast in the morning which was plentiful and tasty. All in all a great location, friendly hotel and I would definitely use it again when I’m back for the football. Well done to all involved. And thank you.
