Got a great deal for a one night stay, overall it was decent. Nice hotel, great views. Bit of an air of resignation given it will be closed next week which is sad.
Breakfast staff so polite and doing their best to keep the show on the road (instant coffee isnt ideal but I assume there is a reason for this and everyones just battling to keep going).
Bar wasnt open til 5pm but they serve a good pint of Heineken (£4.70, so not badly priced). Cant help but think they could really make something really great of the bar and restaurant / terrace in the summer.
Gang of asian lads wandering around not in masks wasnt ideal and i cant say the room was spotless sadly. A little dusty and a couple of stains on the bathroom wall tiles but id already made the decision to give a quick clean myself anyway so it wasnt a massive deal. Hotel is a bit in need of TLC but a lot of these type of hotels and buildings are. I’d give it a 3.5 overall if I could.
Hope the hotel makes it through the other side, good luck. More
