Excellent overnight break, not too far from the city centre - Clean hotel and friendly staff.

Prices in the hotel were a bit expensive (about £3 for a bottle of water) but guess that's to be expected.

All in all, convenient, affordable and comfortable.

We stayed here overnight before our early morning flight . We actually got a really good deal with 2 week parking. We arrived about 5pm checked in then headed for the bar. Bar was quite busy we had a few drinks and ordered a few sides to eat which we enjoyed. The night we stayed we heard that members of staff had went home poorly and they had had sick calls. The number of guests that were moaning and complaining was disgusting they were doing the best they could. The amount of times I overheard guests say they should have stayed at the hotel across the road ? Why didn’t you in the first place ? For the price you pay excellent value for money wouldn’t hesitate in booking again.

We had an early flight from the airport so stayed here overnight and took the stay/park option for a price of just over £60. The Hotel is only a few minutes from checkin, the room was clean, if a bit dated,the car parking was simple and staff helpful. All round, we'd be happy to stay here again.

Britannia hotel is a bit tired when you compare it to the likes of premier inn etc , the rooms while they are adequate and basic and small double beds : they do I need modernisation , the happy hour is a bit of a con with only certain ales in that category. Still breakfast at £7 per person is I think real good value , staff pleasant and really helpful and the price for a nights stay and car parking is also a steal compared to others . Recommendation: if your not posh or really fussy then this is a hotel for you

Booked a single night stay online at relatively short notice, prior to an early morning flight out from the airport. The room rate was very competitive and when pre-booked with a dinner and breakfast package it provided excellent overall value. Our room was perhaps on the small side but well suited for our one night stay and included the usual facilities that would be expected.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel location on the airport meant a simple five minute walk to the terminal or two minute drive to long term parking.
