We stayed in the Staybridge Suites Newcastle last weekend for one night. Made to feel very welcome at check in, although only one person at check in with a bit of a queue, a very friendly Staybridge employee apologised for not being able to help with check in but offered coffee or tea whilst we waited.
We were on the 5th, with lovely views of the city. The rooms are immaculate, bathroom was spotless, sofa, large flatscreen television and kitchenette.
The bed was very soft, could probably do with a new mattress, but we had plenty pillows. Coffee and tea making facilities, however only one satchet of coffee for the plunger which produced a very see through weak coffee. Nice tea options for tea drinkers though.

The bathroom was spacious, very clean, large shower, good water pressure and plenty large towels. Lovely smelling toiletries as well.

Breakfast was a bit average, but adequate. I found no less than 5 bananas with split skin, the lady at the buffet was quick and removed them when she saw my predicament and replaced them.

The friendly staff and convenient location, and comfortable rooms made this stay very pleasant.

Had a wonderful overnight stay here. Breakfast is included and of very good quality. If you are staying in this area for a while then this would make the most convenient place as you have the option of cooking for yourself as there is a kitchen with fridge, hob microwave etc. Laundry facilities are available too.

Room tip: Try to get upgraded to a suite

This hotel on the face of it appears to be more setup for long term business residents but it's equally well suited for short term leisure visitors. The room was a good size with everything I needed. Having not been to Newcastle before I was a little concerned about the location but once I arrived it turned out to be absolutely fine. The area is mostly home to lots of student accommodation and is a short walk to the train station, university and city centre.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was busy but had everything I could want (continental, full english, toast, juice, coffee, etc). Secure parking and entrances to the lobby area. TV's in the room had Sky Sports and other entertainment channels.

Overall a very pleasant stay and if I was to return to Newcastle I'd probably stay here again.

We were on our way home from a four-week Scotland tour, so we only had time for a one-night stay. The suite was very spacious and modern, with a well designed kitchen and dining area. The staff was very friedly and we appreciated help with our luggage. We would definitiely look for Staybridge Suites on future travels.

Just back from an overnight stay at the weekend.
Staff really friendly and go out their way to help. Tiffany being the standout..she cant help it she is a mackem
We received an upgrage for being guest if the day..free upgrade to one bed apartment and some snacks.
Room was great and was really spacious. Bed comfortable too.
Only thing that let the visit down was there was no space at breakfast..however only 5 min wait.
Will be back
