Came in for some tapas last night before a night out in Newcastle, the food was good but what made our night was the service, it was exceptional, Gabriella was so welcoming even though we arrived slightly late. She went above and beyond what you would expect in other restaurants, I work in the industry myself and would hire her in a heartbeat. Thank you for the itinerary, we followed it to the letter and had one of the best nights. Gabriella you were amazing.

We were shopping in Eldon Square and decided it was time for lunch so as we were close to the food court we thought we would give it a go. We opted for Tapas Revolution and were greeted and shown to a table next to the toilets, after refusing this table we got one a little further down. We opted for el classic off the menu and extra pattas bravas the meal started to arrive in true tapas style ,in drips and drabs and was only Luke warm. We ordered extra bread and as we were eating this the waitress came and started clearing the plates away we told her that we were not finished and her reply was I am only taking away the empty plates. The staff need educating in basic table rules DO NOT CLEAR THE TABLE UNTIL THE CUSTOMER IS FINISHED.

Hola tommoran1231,

I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy your experience with us.

We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service, which so many other reviewers have experienced hence the numerous 5 star reviews we receive every week. All our staff are trained to a high standard which does include removing the empty tapas dishes from the table. We do everything the Spanish way to remain as authentic as possible which is why we take empty dishes, we do not remove the plates you're eating from until the whole party is done. It's a shame that you also didn't feel it appropriate to mention the issue with the food being lukewarm until your review, despite the fact we could have very easily rectified any issues on the day.

Gracias,

Sarah

Visited for the first time and wasn't too sure what to expect but this place is as good as you can get anywhere in the country. The £18 shared platter was honestly the best I have had in any bar or restaurant in Europe. Great food, good service and decent wine - what's not to like?

We were expecting typical tapas when we chose the clasico set menu for two. We were shocked by the mix of exotic flavours in the very nicely sized dishes. We also ordered the pan mallorquin and found it extremely lovely.

This was my first time trying tapas and I was honestly blown away. The service from Tatiane was amazing, she asked if it was our first time and explained all about it and how the food would come out.

We went for the des chef set menu so we cpuld try a lot of different things and everything was amazing. Ill definitley be back.

Thank Victoria H
