Another date night favourite for myself and hubby, sometimes with friends. The mixed platter starter is beautiful, curries are traditional as well as the common favourites like korma, balti etc.. Always great friendly service.

Its been a long time since we last visited Spice Exchange and were not disappointed. We dined here on very hot Monday evening early on and were the only party in the restaurant at the time. Quickly seated and menus arrived with our drinks order taken and delivered efficiently and with a smile. I will not describe every meal in detail other than to say they looked and smelt excellent. I will however go into a little more detail of my experience. Small but nice selection of gins always a good start whilst browsing the menu. Choice of an early dinners menu at just over £10 for a starter main course and a chose rice or nan bread. Excellent value but other dishes caught my eye from the main menu. Went for a starter of poppadoms with onion, chutney. Fresh poppadoms were excellent whilst the onions were for my taste a little bland and could do with a little spicing up. Followed on by onion bhaji which were excellent in presentation, flavour and texture unlike the greasy offering in some restaurants. Went for a main course of Laal Maas which is described on the menu as hot with a side of Keema rice. This dish delivered in all dimensions not only hot but packed with flavour. Highly recommended. To complement the meal decided on the Vina Echeverria Merlot Reserve which was robust in taste to sit well with such a hot curry. Offered complenetry drinks at the end. Well done to all at Spice Exchange already looking forward to our next visit.

Best Indian in Stoke on Trent. Never disappointed when I go here. Food is always quality and the place is always clean and the staff always polite. The early bird menu is a bargain too. 5 stars
