Shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants 2 mins walk. Note: Apartment is accessed via internal stairs, no lift.

Town: Wells, Englands smallest city, is named after the springs which still bubble up today in the grounds of its beautiful 12th century cathedral, situated within a most attractive Cathedral Close, which also boasts a splendid Bishops Palace and moat. Close by, Vicars Close is home to the oldest complete medieval street in Europe, and the quaint market square offers an array of interesting shops, boutiques and restaurants, and a colourful twice weekly market. With so much to see and do, there is something to keep everyone entertained!

Excellent apartment, great location and well equipped. Major downside, for me, was the quality and comfort of beds and the cleanliness of the ensuite shower room. However, I would recommend to friends and family!
