A very well located hotel, in a building with some character. There is a public car park to the rear, which is free from 8pm to 8 am and £5.40 for 4 hours otherwise. (Pay and Display - if you pay for 4 hours at 7 pm, say, you get a ticket valid until 11 am the next day.) The only problem is that it is not signposted. The entrance to the car park is through an archway on Broad St, with big green gates. Fortunately, the receptionist was very helpful in giving us directions.

We stayed in August, but during a cold spell. So whilst there was a big tower fan available, there was only a sheet on the bed. Fortunately I found a duvet in the walk in wardrobe area, along with a second bath towel (there was only 1 in the bathroom for the 2 of us).

The room was a very good size, and very clean. It was fairly basic, but perfectly adequate for the 1 night. Really good value compared with other hotels in the centre of Bath.

In conclusion, the only improvements I would suggest is more information on the website re the location of the car park, and a notice in the room telling you where spare bedding and towels were.

Position is excellent and I think that is why it is relatively expensive. Shabby Inside. Little money

spent on the place since we have been coming....
some years. We do like where it is. Travelling by train so its convenient. They do tell you there is a nightclub underneath when booking on line but I don't suppose they know to what extent the noise can keep you awake. noise and shouting / swearing goes on for hours. I know the Travelodge are not responsible for this.

This hotel is situated ABOVE a club - funnily enough I didn't hear any club noise, just street noise and sirens.
The room was a great size and really clean. Yea, coffee etc all provided and you can have as much as you like. Really friendly staff. We were on a hen do. Lots of bars around the hotel too and cafes.

Lovely reception staff. Great location next to shops and restaurants (even get 10% discount in some places because of travel lodge) beds very uncomfortable and bathroom very worn with paint peeling off, marks on the floor, dust etc. Yet the main bedroom was very clean.
