We were looking for accommodation on the edge of Bath, knowing the quality and value would be much better than in town. Ian 'talked us in' very efficiently by text message and we left the car and took the bus into town - parking is a nightmare in Bath on Saturday.

The room was warm, clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee provided but a rather elderly kettle (with a lead to the kettle not the base) and only enough milk for one cup each. A minor problem!

Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. All five guests ate sitting round a large table. We appreciated the friendly personal service and would stay there again.

I stayed here for one night as I was working locally.
It was very homely and friendly and the accommodation was of a high standard.
I had left my earrings behind and they were delivered to my place of work the next day, thank you.
I hope I will be working in the area again.

Thank you, Ali and Ian, for a lovely stay. We have stayed at High Beeches several times now, and have always received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a quiet and peaceful stay in this immaculate and beautifully designed home. This time we were given Room 4, which was amazingly quiet, and had a good comfy bed. The spotlessly clean bathroom with separate loo was conveniently just a couple of steps away, and for our own use - perfect. Thank you, and we hope to return again soon.

We arrived at 3pm only to be told by the male owner that he was very sick and we couldn't come in. We stood there dumbfounded and then realized he meant that we couldn't come in until 4pm checkin time. We were a little anxious about going back because we really didn't want to risk getting sick along with the fact we hadn't been made to feel welcome. The location also was much further out of town than ideal. But when we went back we were greeted by the female owner and she could not have been more welcoming or friendly. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast was delicious.

I must say i couldnt have asked for a better place to stay in! everything was perfect! Ian was very nice and helpful from the start giving me directions to his fabulous hotel. The views from my room were amazing and breakfast was 5star!

the room itself was very cosy and had everything i needed plus more.
i was on a business trip but have already booked with the High Beeches to go again in the summer with my Girlfriend for a leisure trip! Ian is very accommodating and is a prime example of how a perfect host should be. Many Thanks
