The extent of information, both in breadth and depth, is absolutely stunning. The staff could not be more helpful. So if it's in depth research or general interest, this is the place to go.

A wonderful site with lots to take in. The new Visitor Centre is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Easter to October. You can arrange tours of the Mill for groups and sign up for the Newsletter to be kept informed via the website flaxmill-maltings.com . Lots of parking and friendly guides - 15 minutes from the town centre, and on a main bus route. I'l be going again!

Came across the mill by chance one Saturday and saw that the visitor centre was open. Really enjoyed our visit especially having the opportunity to go inside the main building and see the very first iron framed building - the forerunner of all the skyscrapers.
