Wow! This most be the most frequented pub by dogs that I have ever visited. Lots of dogs here, which as dog owners/lovers we were happy to see. We went on a Friday night and there was a nice buzzy atmosphere, but we still managed to find a nice quiet table and order food. The food was good solid pub food, tasty and unpretentious which is just what we like!
Mains we had lamb shank, a veg bake and steak baguette. Dessert choices were a little less, my husband had ice cream and I had bread and butter pudding, which was lovely. My only criticism would be that they only had three flavours to choose from on the ice cream, and more choice would have been great.
The service was very friendly and we didn't have to wait long.
We had a really lovely evening here and very much enjoyed it. Would recommend and definitely return ourselves.
