This is are second time in 12 month's we've stayed at pats cottage . We lov it ,its so comfortable and relaxing, and a great cottage i could live here. We will be booking again hopefully during the summer if there's availability.
This was our 4th stay at Pat`s Cottage, we love the simplicity, comfort, charm and the peace.
It is ideal for exploring the surrounding National Park, to get into Sheffield by bus or just walk from the cottage around Dore.
The Grill in Dore is an excellent place to eat.
Park the car outside, walk to the bus, 5 minutes to get to Sheffield in about 30 minutes.

This is a delightful 18th Century cottage which is comfortable, well equipped, tastefully appointed and spotlessly clean. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and available if needed. Ceilings and doorways are low and the stairs are steep (can't be helped - it is nearly 150 years old after all) and take a bit of getting used to, although this is made clear prior to booking.
The cottage is in the lovely village of Dore on the outskirts of Sheffield within easy reach of the city and the Peak District. The village has a small supermarket and a few shops as well as a couple of pubs and restaurants.
