Myself and my partner have been calling at Sainsbury's Cafe for several years now and although the fare is basic it was usually well cooked and presented. In the last six months on several occasions the food has been overcooked and recently after waiting 25 minutes the food was really cold.
Several times we have had toast which was burnt (blackened) with the burnt side down so that it can't be readily seen. We have sent food back on many occasions but you do get to the point where it's less hassle to go elsewhere.
I get the impression that the cook for the day is whoever turns up first.
Very disappointing that an organisation like Sainsbury's doesn't pay more attention to the quality of it's fare!
