We stayed here fully knowing what to expect beforehand, what with there being no receptionist. In fact we were phoned in advance to make sure that we knew how to gain access which was a nice touch.
In summary the whole building could do with some money being spent on it. The decoration is poor and the room we stayed in was very shabby, although everything seemed to work. It was rather like being back in student digs.
In the early hours someone tried to get into our room and although this could happen in any hotel, because there are no staff members on site it would be very traumatic if you were a single female traveller with no one available to provide help in such a situation.
When you factor in that breakfast isn't included and that it costs £5 to park outside for the day then this isn't really such a great deal. Unless you are on a really tight budget I would recommend spending a bit extra and going to a B&B.More
