I frequently eat here for breakfast with friends and partner. The breakfast is always cooked amazingly and the menu is very well thought out. There is always an item on the menu that a customer will love. The staff are very attentive and accommodating. I only have good things to say, never any negative points.

My wife and I were visiting the Oracle with our 4 month old baby. Looking to have lunch and escape the pouring rain, we decided to go into Cote. We were met with the door being opened for us by a smiling staff member, who showed us to a booth at the back of the restaurant, where we had more room to settle the little one, etc. The restaurant was a quarter full.

Upon reading the menu, my wife had a hard time choosing due to so much of it taking her fancy. The waiter quickly took our order and brought drinks whilst we were deciding. My wife decided to have salmon, while I settled upon the steak, ordering it medium rare.

The food was brought to our table 15 minutes from ordering, piping hot. Both meals were cooked to perfection and were enjoyed. The waiter kept tabs on us without being intrusive.

We decided against dessert, however upon asking for the bill, the waiter brought it straight over. The tab was just over £40, shock for two drinks, two meals and an optional service charge, was reasonable. Payment was quick and painless.

All in all a pleasurable experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic, and considering Cote rests in the higher end of the high street restaurant scale, the money was worth it. Highly recommended!

Popped in for brunch, manager was really cheery and helpful. French breakfast was delicious...fully recommended if you like a nice piece of black pudding.

We visited Cote before heading off to the theatre and found their early evening set menu fitted the brief very well. There was a good choice of dishes with 2 courses around £12 making the meal both tasty and brilliantly priced. Good choice of wine by the glass available.
