We decided to go to this restaurant after a long day out watching my favourite football team in London, it was Sunday evening and there was only two tables in the whole restaurant. The moment we arrive at the restaurant we were greeted by a very pleasant waiter who look after us the entire evening but i have to say the food that we ordered were way below par, the steak was hard and chewy and the specials of roasted haddock was soggy and did not tasted fresh. my friend who suggested this restaurant has been here many times but said the lunch session was far better in terms of quality. Disappointed.

Reading's Côte is by most popular river in town so the view is super nice and it gives you a sense you're actually in Italy! Friendly service and the Italian decoration is on spot! I only went for coffee and a chocolate croissant, the cappuccino could have been stronger but the croissant was very tasty! They have a great deal for breakfast as well

Well, my wife and I went for an evening meal at this restaurant. I must say that the atmosphere was really Good, the staff was extremely assertive, the decor was set to a very high standard.
We both ordered a steak, extremely well cooked, full of flavour and made great use of the fantastic wine menu.
In terms of price, what you pay is what you get in most cases.....very good value for money. I have no problem paying for great food and drink. We shall definitely return here. Thanks

We often frequent the local Cote, food is enjoyable, ambiance is pleasant, service is attentive and pleasantly not rushed.
Yet this evening deserves a review; upon arrival a waiter that served us previously and really was a notch above, welcomed us, and arranged for our usual booth, but was unable to serve due to section arrangement; yet we had a blonde lady whom one can only assume must be a manager, assistant manager or soon to step up; evening was almost faultless, one mains was the wrong order yet actually the first choice but being a cynic with experience that seldom does a franchise produce truly succulent tender chicken; the order arrived and we wouldn’t permit it go back; it looked too good.
So credit to the chefs in the kitchen! Credit to management! And credit to waiting staff!
Any honest review does need a suggestion for improvement, and ours would be the ladies and gentlemen that care for the clientele for an evening should introduce themselves by name, so one can give appreciation if it is deserved; like this evening! Top notch, and thank you.
