This is one of only two, maybe three places that I know of where ya can find a bridge like this. Two here in the U.K. , and the other in Italy.

Came out to Oxford for a show at the Playhouse, as Oxford hates cars came on the train (park and ride is pants for anything other than commuters). Saw this was about very close to lots of other architectural gold & went and had a gander. Bit more accessible than its namesake & made of different stone, lovely crests all over it, rarely for Oxford it's free & of course, top selfie opportunity. Much more like the original and has some tedious link unlike the one in Cambridge that you can see well from punting the Camb.

When we come to Oxford we always have a look around here at this delightful bridge. I would recommend that once you have visited it you walk under it and along New College Lane and Queen's Lane to High Street. This is a lovely quiet and atmospheric cut through that is often used for filming in period pieced such as Endeavour.

This is one of the most iconic landmarks in Oxford it can get busy not just with pedestrians but as the best photo opportunity is standing in the road beware of bike riders.
