3 adults and 2 children visited for lunch prior to the Panto at Chippy theatre.
Children’s meal was really good with cheesy garlic bread starter with 1 burger and fries and 1 chicken in breadcrumbs and fries, kids really enjoyed it.
Adults Ham, egg and chips and the cod and vegetable were also really good.
But the chocolate and orange Yule log was just yummy!
Great place to eat at anytime, but perfect for pre theatre lunch or dinner.

Called in here for a snack during Christmas week. Nice little place I must say. Coffee was good and so was the food. I had the sausage sandwich which was of a good quality and well loaded, the wholegrain mustard being a nice touch. My better half had a smoked salmon and prawn salad and a glass of mulled wine both of which she declared to be lovely.

If you're in Chipping Norton then definitely worth dropping in.

We ate supper here just before New Year, with local friends who recommended Whistlers. I have a really boring (for me and chef) intolerance to the onion family. Usually - if I'm lucky - the items containing onion, chives etc., are removed before plating up. Here it was really interesting and delicious alternatives to sauce, accompaniments etc. As well as proactive identification of possible problems. All done with great friendliness. And delicious food too! Thank you so much. Made my evening extra special.

We visited Whistlers in the busy pre-Christmas week and the accommodating crew welcomed us warmly and placed us at a comfortable and quiet table.

The wait staff were cheerful and chatty and not intrusive.

The food was terrific. We had the risotto and the fish and chips (haddock). So glad we did! The rest of the menu looked inviting.

Oh! And yes, the staff do whistle, to communicate between the kitchen and the waitstaff. Better than bells!
