Went there easter week. Place is good with a lot of good cocktails.
Its more like a stop off, bit loud as compared to other pubs around, alot of people hovering around while eating at the table may be because of less space or need re arranging of tables.
Good staff.

Arrived in Chipping Norton from Bath at 8pm and were famished. Although we arrived late, and Bitter and Twisted serve Dinner until 9pm, they accepted us without hesitation. The young Portuguese lady who served us spoke impeccable English and was very friendly. Food was served in no time and was very good. The atmosphere was that of a pub and the place was busy. We totally enjoyed our time there.

This was an interesting visit. To say the Beef and Yorkshire Pudding was sublime is not doing it justice, it really was one of the best Sunday lunches we've had in a long while. Veg done to perfection and not over-done and Yorkshire Puddings were not only huge but tasty.

We had a reasonably long wait (but not too long that we started to wonder where the food was) but given we were happy chatting, and given the standard of cooking, we prefer that than a microwave job.

The staff were great and very friendly. On the outside the building looks oldie worldie, but inside it's totally different and quite modern. Very comfortable seats we noted. Certainly the food going past us also looked very good and we heard a neighbouring guest mention it was the best steak she'd ever had.

We would recommend they serve the horseradish up in a little pot rather than the Tesco's jar, but then we did say it was all part of the charm of the place!!

At the end of the day, that was the only thing we would have changed, a better horseradish. We will definitely be back.

Called into Chipping Norton for breakfast whilst travelling around the Cotswolds.
Whilst wandering around the town, nowhere really stood out that offered breakfast and we
nearly carried on to the next village. Then I saw the sign saying breakfast at the Bitter and Twisted, so we went in.

The inside is very nice, quilted champagne bar, snake skin stools, floral benches and lovely lighting.
It was quite busy with what seemed to be locals, so a nice atmosphere.

We sat down and were immediately given a menu and asked what drinks we would
like by a young girl. Service was fast and then breakfast was ordered.
There are two breakfasts, one for £5 and you can double up on a couple of things
and have a larger breakfast for £9. We had the smaller. We waited a good 10/15 minutes for
this which I like! This usually means it's cooked from fresh! And, it didn't disappoint, lovely
breakfast, really tasty sausages (assuming local) and a great mug of tea.

Staff were friendly and an all round nice experience. Bill came to £13. I would definitely recommend
for breakfast. Menu for other meals looked good too.
