Stayed here for 8 nights in November, was very cheap and great location. 3 minute walk to train station, about 6-7 minute walk to city centre. Very nice hotel. Wifi was 10 pounds for 24 hrs (had a couple of problems with it and had to call tech support but got sorted). Had breakfast only once as it was a little pricy (I think around 7/8 pounds per person). Was very nice though and full English buffet. Plenty of cheap eating places nearby for other mornings. Overall great hotel, nice and quiet, good value for money.

I stayed one night Feb 7, there was no heat in my room and no heat/oooling control instructions next to the control on the wall. I complained, but no one fixed the problem. I froze all night!

Nice room overlooking the canal, lifts are a bit slow coming but overall the food, staff and service are good, no complaints. Bar service a bit hectic but again nothing major to complain about - would I stay again???? Yes

I was half expecting to see Lenny Henry when i walked in to the lobby of this particular hotel. The decor is very Travelodge / Ibis esk, with cheap woods and cord carpet as far as the eye can see. For the price you cannot really complain £88 pound, including what they claimed was breaskfast is a very good price, even for Nottingham. The rooms were small but pleasant with Tea and coffee making facilities, and on the 11th floor a stunning view of the city by day, or night. Back to breakfasat, which was in the buffet format, i understand the term budget hotel, but the plates were reminisent of Pizza Hut 'free salad bar' plates!! Whilst that was slightly annoying the overall experience here was not too bad at all, and when visiting clients in the area i would check back in, but only for a few more years, it does look like it will get tired and old very quickly...

Room Tip: 11th Floor is very good
