Decent enough pub. Good service, nice pint of Guinness and low prices. Unfortunately one table of irresponsible adults spoilt our evening by letting their out-of-control kids run riot. I don't mind having well-behaved kids in pubs but this was unacceptable. While it is the responsibility of parents to make sure their kids behave appropriately, if they don't the manager needs to step in. And maybe social services, too.

Just because you’re cheap; doesn’t mean you need to be rude. The staff really bring this place down, which is a shame. Typical Wetherspoons apart from that. Won’t be returning.

Sunday evening and after a long drive you just know you'll get decent grub at a fair price at Weatherspoons. This is no exception. The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection. The staff were OK and kind of went through the motions but to be honest I think the place lacks character despite being in the old bus station and it doesn't really work for me. I'd go back just for the food but I'd be inclined to look further afield first.

The Samuel Hall is a Wetherspoons pub on the Sherwood high street. It does what it does well; cheap beer, tasty affordable food and comfortable surroundings.

We had sandwiches/burgers and chips and thought they were well cooked and presented nicely. For £6 for a meal and a drink, you can’t really go wrong for a lunchtime treat.

The place is always busy with locals but there are lots of tables tucked away so you can always find a decent place to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal.

Relaxing time on a Sunday afternoon, a nice venue to view, good conversion for a Wetherspoons, as always great value for money. Bar staff were friendly, polite and informative about products and comparative pricing with other competitors. Enjoyed the comfort of the leather sofas and from there a panoramic view of this building.
