As Ezekiel Bones will explain with humour, learning and the passion borne of 20 years of research, Robin is a composite character, built on medieval episodes and woven into song and romance by bards and story tellers over generations. The most recent contributor to this ongoing legend of a champion of the poor and oppressed is Ezekiel himself, who tells the story, not only of Robin, but of Nottingham as well, making this tour one of the highlights of any tour of England. In telling the truth about the legend of Robin Hood, Ezekiel reminds us all of the timeless need for champions to stand up for good in the face of oppression and becomes, by example, a modern contributor to the composite that is Robin Hood. Kudos for one of the most delightful afternoons I can remember. And to put the icing on the cake, he recommended dinner at the Hand and Heart, but that is another story.
