The grand hall has portraits of many men who were associated with Northamptonshire, like William Carey. The Court room was once used for a court & has cells below. The other rooms have fascinating murals of our shoe making history & the Council Chamber is impressive with the Mayor's throne as the focal point.

Went for a wedding once, the staff there seemed miserable however it was a lovely venue, despite there not being much to see

This building is amazing. We walked in off the street hoping for a glimpse and ended up exploring upstairs and down. The inside is opulent and gorgeous reflecting a time when Northampton was cashed up. Really worth a visit. Really nice to see a place like this really open to the public it serves.

On Mondays, the galleries and museums are closed in Northampton. The 19th century Guildhall was the only place open. Worth a look inside, some nice interiors on the ground floor, but it won’t take you long to see this.

In the heart of Northampton this is an absolute treasure and jewel to the town's crown. A stunning building that warrants more than a passing glance.

Take a look at the awesome modern extension which is in total keeping with the old building and for a modern addition adds to the grandeur rather than detract from it.

Whilst there take a look inside. Totally breathtaking and a well preserved and used building.
