Arrived at this site for the Easter Weekend. Site very easy to locate though signage on opposite side of road to the entrance would be helpful as almost went past it first time as signage only at the entrance to the park. Was greeted by Cath promptly with a broad smile, settled balance to pay then led to our pitch, No.11, by a great chap on a moped.. A fantastic location on site as in the Adult side and in a quiet corner but close to tap, waste, recycling and the washroom. Hard standing pitch well kept and site immaculate all over. Shop is well stocked with all manner of stuff and bus stop right outside the entrance. Washroom is spotless and well kept. No sign of any wear of damage. A walk to the Locks is about 5 minutes down a track from the site and an interesting location and great place for a picnic in it's own right. Marina is just up the river about 400 yards. Any cons? will 2 things but were circumstantial. Weather was diabolical and forced us to leave early and just throw the awning saturated in the back of the car. Because it was so cold heating had to be turned up. Now electric supply is a rigid 10 amp supply, forcing you to choose between appliances otherwise the trip switch goes. In the summer wouldn't be an issue as Cath said but balancing Heating, Kettles, Hot Water, Microwave, TV's, hairdryers etc which are found in modern vans takes some consideration before you hit the ON switch. We look forward to returning in the nice weather as this place is a gem of a site but review prejudiced as some of the worse weather experienced in a van we had there.... You won't be disappointed....

We've been coming to naburn lock for a good 11 yrs. Cath and Pete are lovely people. The site is lovely. Ample space between pitches, hard standing or grass. Facilities are always spotless. There's a bus stop right outside the park. A 15 minute walk takes you to the blacksmith's arms pub. Cannot fault the site or location. We love it.

Will definitely come back to this site. It is located just 5 minute walk if that from naiburn lock from where you can catch the river boat into york for £11 return each. It only runs Saturday & Sunday until end of September. The site is quiet despite having a lot of spaces, they are in sections surrounded by hedges. The owners are friendly and toilets & showers are spotless. There is a shop in reception which is well stocked. Not far from york centre if you want to go in by car.

We were here for the hot air balloon festival and were really pleased with site. The toilets and shower block were immaculate, the people running the site were wonderful and the site as a whole was really well cared for. A wonderful stay and have just booked up again for the last weekend of the season.
