If you want food that's a little different but full of flavour with a touch of passion then you cannot go wrong with the pig and pastry.
As you enter you see a busy and bussling café and are confronted with an a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Be warned though this place is popular (for excellent reasons) so you may find yourself sharing a table with a stranger or too. Thankfully most clientele embrace the atmosphere. You can read alone or make a new friend.
On your right are the chalk boards. Four are staples and you should work your way through. The far left changes constantly. Always with a vegetarian options. Be adventurous and go for something different you've never had before. You won't be disappointed.
The cakes are amazing too. Later in the afternoon the food service switches to coffee and cakes and the footfall drops. The staff are always friendly with great cutomer service even with every table occupied and with a queue to the door.
But that's what you'd expect from one of the most popular and best haunts in the city.
