Stayed at The Parisi for one night as had a couple of days in York. Paid a reduced rate and for the size of room I wouldn’t have wanted to pay any more. That said, the people working there were very pleasant and more than happy to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was included and this was very good, with a wide choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, and locally sourced items for a full cooked breakfast. A nice touch was the fridge for resident use which had fresh milk and bottles of water. The room we had, number 2, was small with what I would describe as a functional en-suite. Hotel is in a convenient location, about 10 minute walk from the centre of York although there are a number of bars/restaurants nearby. We would stay there again.

Simply the best boutique bed and breakfast in the heart of the lovely city of York.

Our 3 night stay was perfect.

The young team here at the Parisi really know how to deliver service. As frequent travellers across the
globe and regular 5 star hotel guests, we can highly commend them on every aspect. Accomodation is delightful, lovely design in our room with freestanding bath and the common areas and all very well maintained.

The thoughtful touches like organic toiletries and huge mugs for a morning cup of Yorkshire tea we’re welcomed, as we’re the great traditional breakfasts.

Thanks to all the team for really making us welcome and putting the icing on the cake for our celebration visit.

Late review but had to leave one all the same because we adored our stay at the Parisi. Such warm and welcoming staff, nothing was too much trouble. Cosy and comfortable room. Tasty breakfast and such a beautifully large and light room to enjoy it in. The perfect location for the Barbican and only a short walk from the city centre for Christmas shopping!

The hotel is the perfect location for exploring York and adjacent a road of restaurants, bars & coffee shops and is beautifully decorated throughout. The staff are friendly, warm, helpful and ready to offer advice on where to eat andwhat to see and do in this buzzing buzzing city..
Our room was bliss, everything you could possibly need is provided - local guides, selection of teas, nespresso, radio with docking station and quality toiletries.
The city as I said was buzzing and packed to bursting with visitors which in the day time was enjoyable, however on a night it was horrendous full of stag and hen parties, drunk people ranging from early 2o's to late 40's, shouting falling all over, urinating in doorways, I can honestly say it was embarrasing to be British, what the foreign tourists must think I don't know.
The next day the drunks had gone but the reminents of the night were there for all to see, sick in doorways, road cones thrown around, pieces of kebab and broken glass bottles all over, it must be a nightmare for the dogs in this city.
All in all we enjoyed our weekend, BUT i would recommend coming midweek when it's a little more civilised.
