This famous part of York is just as you’d expect steeped in history and beautiful. Loved visiting the market and the shops as well as being part of a tour we took.

Loved the place just a bit of history and nostalgia . Although it was raining this time this did not deter people from walking in the rain and I think that you can see something for everyone also the Harry Potter shops seemed to be very busy

Inspiration for Harry Potter's Diagon Alley. Cool place to do window shopping in with several HP themed shops. An hour or so here should be enough. Do check out the street food area and the market place.

Rich history and place to seek inspiration from. If JK Rowling can do it so can you.

Lovely area, it has been taken over somewhat with all the Harry Potter shops which was a little disappointing. Nice area to get the feel of York though!

Quaint streets and some unusual shops, not a chain store in sight. Loads of outdoor eating places but it was somewhere indoors we needed.
