What a fantastic stay! Hotel was spotless and the breakfast was amazing-best I’ve had at a Premier Inn. Beds were comfy and there was no noise at all even though we were on a busy road. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very central to the city and train station. Would highly recommend!

Hotel is extremely close to York town. Less than 10 minute walk to the centre and less than 2 minute walk to the main gate entrance and city wall.

Had food the first night there and it wasn't the best. Queues for breakfast in the morning was out of the door so gave that a miss also. Air con in the rooms though which was a huge plus in this weather.

One more negative thing is the parking. You have to put your car in the NCP at the rear - £20 for 24 hours. Premier Inn do discount this but not by much so bear that in mind when booking also. Blossom Street North does have a car park but you have to use Blossom Street South Premier to eat etc if wanted.

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear of the building are quieter as not on main road.

We have stayed at this Premier Inn before because it is located 300 yards from the railway station AND its a lovely ten minute walk into Chester....but also like many Premier Inns it is good value, decent pub/restaurant withinand staff are generally very friendly and helpful.
We would like to mention Peta who made our stay so nice. It was a special occasion for us and she left a card in our room and greeted us each day with a smile and always looked to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Wetherspoons also across the road (Punch Bowl) so useful cheap ale too!

A lovely hotel we have visited many times due to its fab location by the train station in York. Felt very sorry for the staff on this visit though, as they were clearly understaffed. The poor lady on check in was so friendly but clearly overwhelmed and waiting on staff in the restaurant for breakfast and evening meal, could have done with additional help.
