Judging by TripAdvisor this should have been better than we experienced. The staff were welcoming and the first course (octopus) dish was very good. There wasn't anyone who knew the wines on their list and when I made a poor choice, suggesting it didn't taste right there was no one to agree/disagree with me. When the second bottle came - and they were very good in offering it - it was bit cleaner so we accepted it. They should have known their stock better. The saltimbocca and the carbonara were straightforward but not very special. The veal escalope Milanese was poor: dry, overcooked and coated in such a ways as it seemed as if it had come to the kitchen ready-prepared from Brakes Brothers. At £120 for three it was poor value.
