I used to visit Leather Lane regularly between 03-05 when I worked in the area and always loved its vibe and eclectic mix of stalls. Now it has got even better. Like much if London it has been gentrified, but not to the point where it costs a fortune or excludes genuine Londoners. There is an amazing choice of food stalls, selling bowls and plates of food for very reasonable prices (I bought a Chinese chicken and noodle dish for £6). The whole place is buzzing with life with long queues everywhere, but do not be put off they all serve quickly, partly because they only take cash and do not worry about card machines.

Fantastic at lunchtime. Loads of cheap food stalls as well as cafes. You can get a meal here for £5. The quality is high and prices low due to the competition.

Came along here looking for brunch. Great choice from greasy spoon cafes to specialist coffee shops. Also loads of stalls selling a wide variety of excellent quality ethnic Street food. A great place for a cheap lunch. Other stalls not so special.

People that come here come to eat real food. Prices are great and selection is diverse, all the stalls I've come across had yummy food. You can't go to London and not pass by this hidden gem for food lovers !

Everytime I come here there is something different to see. There always seems to be new ethnic food stalls as well as loads of cheap clothes for sale. For a meal I go to Tongue and Brisket and for coffee to the Department of Social and Coffee Affairs. There are new places open at the North end of the road.
