I stayed here while in London sitting exams and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a short walk from Euston Station and the British Museum, it’s clean and comfortable and I felt very secure. And it was a fraction of the cost of a hotel in peak holiday season!

This place offers all you need for a reasonable price. The location is great and all main things are easily accessible by walking or public transport. The shared bathroom is clean and the breakfast typically British.

Stayed here last Saturday night for one night stay. Hotel is across the road from Euston station so location is great. Staff very helpful. However, stayed on the the first floor whose toilets and showere were out of order due to construction work, meaning you had to use the shared facilities on either the ground or second floor. Also, my window wouldn't close which in the City means you hear everything.

Having said that, the price of staying is really cheap and ideal if you plan to be out and about all day. And the breakfasts served were great. This is the second LSE property that I've stayed in and I would stay again but would maybe contact them in advance to ensure the bathrooms were in working order on the floor you are staying on.

A 2 minute walk from Euston station and Russell Square tube station, so great location.
Basic but clean affordable accommodation, spacious room, pleasant staff, excellent breakfast - help yourself with a great selection - fruit, cereals, yogurts, waffles, hot food, fruit juices, range of coffee; yes it was canteeny but you are in student accommodation; don't let that put you off, it sets you up for the day.
Although there are no kettles or tvs in the rooms there was a games room downstairs (we made use of the table tennis) with large tv and vending machines for cold drinks and small snacks.
Wasn't looking forward to shared bathroom facilities but the shower and separate toilet was just outside our door and only shared by 2 other rooms and there were extra facilities on other floors - it was not a problem at all.
Free luggage storage before check in and on our final day after check out - very useful.
We would definitely recommend and we will be returning next time we are in London.

Room Tip: We had a room on the third floor of Endsleigh block - at lot of steps but out of the way and quiet.

We had difficulty finding it in the first place as it's just a small plaque saying LSE Passfield Hall, not in any way like a hotel sign (which it isn't of course). We were on the second floor at the back of the building so was very quiet, except that the radiator made the most horrendous noise at about midnight on our first night there. It was actually turned off and I had to turn it on to stop the noise (which was like pneumatic drill). Consequently, for the rest of our stay, we had to leave the radiator on, which did make it a bit warm in the middle of the night.
The room was quite large and basic with many stains on the carpet, which was a bit off putting but I don't think it was actually dirty, probably tea and coffee stains. Knowing what to expect, we took a travel kettle and some tea and coffee so could make ourselves a drink if required, I also took a hairdryer as they aren't provided either. The toilets and showers on our floor were closed, so we had to go either up or down a flight of stairs whenever we needed to 'go' which was a bit of a bind, but even having to 'double up' with the other floors, I only saw someone else on two occasions. The breakfast is superb and really set us up for the day. There are lots of buses into the West End, and it's a steady walk to Oxford Street. An absolute bargain if you're on a budget and we will definitely stay here the next time we visit London.

Room Tip: First or second floor at the back are quieter.
