Overall we were very pleased with the standard of accommodation here and the location, and will certainly use this hotel again.
Location: Just 5 minutes walk from West Kensington tube station. Although the area immediately around the hotel is quite run down, the restaurants and bars of Fulham Broadway are within walking distance.
Food: Breakfast is self-service, and what you’d normally expect in a Holiday Inn Express. The choice of cereals, fruits etc. was good, but there was not much cooked food. The dining area was clean and functional, but didn’t seem big enough to cope with the number of guests. It got very busy between 8:30 and 9:30 am – there was a chart displayed on the reception desk showing the busiest times at breakfast, so we knew the best times to go.
Room: The room seemed brand new and was well-appointed for an ‘Express’ hotel. There was a large walk-in shower and a good TV. Although on a busy road, we didn’t experience any traffic noise.
Reception: The reception staff were very helpful. They ordered taxis for us on request. A really useful feature is the luggage storage room, which we needed on the last day, as we wanted to spend some time in London after we’d checked out.More
