Stayed just 1 night on the 3rd April. Emailed ahead to see if we could get a room with a view. Checked in fine, staff friendly and lobby looking great. Room however was upgraded to executive room and a lovely bottle of wine and bar of chocolate in the room with a nice touch of a birthday card too.
Room had no view, in fact window was about 15 inches from the floor up, so nothing to view. Tech in the room didn't work well either. Wooden floor was so dusty and dirty, didn't want to take shoes off. Marks all over the walls, in dire need of a paint job. Safe was in a drawer that could be removed with ease!
Tables were badly marked and covered in drink stains - in general the room was of poor condition and in need of a total clean and freshen. Bed was also quite hard and lumpy.
For the price paid >£150 for one night - the location helps, but the quality of the room sadly failed.More
