My second order from this fabulous bakery and even more impressed. I love their stuff. My personal favourites are the cinnamon buns and almond tarts.

Thank Rod P

It’s hard to resist the windowful of tasty treats and it’s true that the cakes are great, though the coffee is nothing special, but the bakery is let down by slow and disinterested service.

The cakes really are delicious, particularly the cinnamon bun, and there’s plenty of choice. It’s a cosy little place hidden away behind Long Acre but sadly the staff just don’t seem that bothered. With seats for only 10 people you’d expect that service would be prompt and friendly yet it’s slow and the staff are keener to chat with each other than make guests feel in the slightest bit welcome.

I’ve been here a few times and it’s always been the same and whilst there’s no denying the cakes are good if they only bothered with the customers then they’d have a winning formula. Perhaps just buying some cakes to take away is the best way forward here.

When you go to this small cafe you will find a treasure of delicious cakes, I have had 7 different ones and they were all amazing. The black grain loaf is delicious, especially taken home and had with smoked salmon. This place is heaven on a plate!!! I consider myself a cake expert and these score 10 out of 10. The staff are friendly and warm and will always welcome you. The only down side is that it isn't wheelchair or pram friendly as there are 3 steps at the front. I go and get my cakes and go home for the best tea and pastry in town.

This tiny bakery was recommended by a Swedish friend who says that this place has a princess torte better than any he has ever eaten in Sweden. With such a recommendation how could you resist! After having tried for ourselves he is not wrong. Not only does the princess torte taste like a sin on a plate, so too does all the food. Having tried the delicious cinnamon buns and chocolate torte, the hardest thing is to decide which vice to opt for. The coffee is also fantastic. Well, well worth a visit even if you have to get a take-away as this place, not surprisingly, is becoming more and more popular and so unfortunately quite often there is no room to eat in.

The cakes are formidable - shame the staff aren't of the same quality. There is a particular person whom has a terrible attitude and makes you want to turn on your heels, with your blood boiling.
