Great staff and food. Good selection of gins too. I often use it for lunches as well as after work drinks. It can get busy as it is quite popular but always worth it.

Went here with a large group (10-12 persons) for a Friday work lunch.

Even though we had a reservation and our food was pre-ordered barring 1 or 2 persons, the food took 50 minutes to arrive! By then some colleagues had to leave. When the food did finally arrive, it was rather tasty.

The waitress was very apologetic for the delay in food (not her fault!) and took the service charge off the bill without us asking. She did request we give the place a second chance. Will do as the food was good, albeit in a smaller group!

We were the only 2 diners on Friday night, 23rd December. It didn’t make any difference, the staff were warm and welcoming . The table was decorated. They made us feel special. And the food - we had a traditional Christmas meal - turkey with all trimmings, Christmas pudding. Complimentary Prosecco to start and mince pies to finish. Both the meal and the staff were superb,

Went here for a work Christmas lunch and the food was absolutely horrendous. I'm not picky - I'll eat pretty much anything - but this was something else. I had the traditional turkey dinner for main, which came swimming in gravy, whilst my colleague's was bone dry. The brussel sprouts were rock hard and the guy next to me catapulted half his lunch onto his lap trying to spear one of them with his fork. The dessert portions were TINY. I had a Christmas pudding, which should have been called Miniature Christmas Pudding, and was so rubbery it was like eating a Wellington boot.Terrible. Don't waste your money here.

Hi Natasha,

We’re so sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your Christmas lunch here on Thursday. Lizzy, who I believe organised your office party, seemed really happy and gave great feedback so it’s extremely disappointing to hear that you and some of your colleagues didn’t enjoy your meal. We pride ourselves on our excellent service and the quality of our food here at the Artisan, and we would like to offer you a meal for four people on us in January, by way of an apology. We look forward to you taking us up on the offer.

Kind regards,

Matt (GM)

Great venue for some good beers, at a decent cost. Ate here on my most recent visit and while the menu isn't huge, it's perfect for a beers and burger kind of night! Head here for post-work drinks :)
