My boyfriend and I moved from Canada to England for work last year. My dad researched areas and decided North Finchley was a cute and safe place. We quickly found the Heather bank and signed for a week Stay while we found our long term housing. The people that run the place are very sweet. They were always around if you needed anything: even if it were a dumb question like how to use the shower! The rooms are spacious and super clean! We actually had to extend our stay here when we visited because we couldn't find housing but our current room had been booked already. As we were about to panic they told us it was no issue and let us stay in an even nicer room for the same cost! It was a great surprise. Adding to our surprise was how fabulous breakfast was! There was a cold breakfast but you could also ask for hot breakfast options. The breakfast area is very clean and cute! I would 100% recommend the Heatherbank to anyone visiting. It is in a great location with many restaurants and grocery stores, along with being just a 25 minute tube into central London! A much cheaper and homey option to staying in central London! Dans

I researched for many hours on many days to find a place for my family to stay in the London area for 7 days. I am overly pleased with my choice of the Heatherbank Guesthouse. A nice hotel created by turning a few homes into hotel rooms. Our room had a small fridge and nice bathroom with shower and enough sleeping arrangements for the four of us. This includes a full English breakfast each morning. The choices were good and the meals were made to order when you arrived at breakfast (unlike the pre-made food at regular hotels). The staff were super polite and helpful with anything we needed. Just a quick 5 minute walk to the Underground, we were where we needed to be very quickly. The London Underground does not disappoint. Highly recommended.

Very good value stay for our family of 5 visiting London over the Bank Holiday weekend. We hired the 2 bedroom apartment, which was very spacious. Excellent location, 5 mins from tube station, and 1 min to North Finchley high Street which has plenty of cafes and restaurants. Free parking in very safe street. Free Wi-Fi which was very fast. Would happily stay again.

My partner and I stayed here for 1 night, decided on this b n b as it was 10 mins from a party that we attended.
Good points
Short distance from northern line Woodside park station
Large room
Short distance from town centre Sainsbury etc to pick up bits
Fridge in room

Bad points
Not the most friendly reception staff
Shower was very basic and creaked when stepped inside felt like it could give way! Ps I'm only 70kg!
Breakfast only served until 10 which is ok midweek but would be nice to be served until 11 on a weekend

Overall good place to stay for one night if your going to be out and about
