Found this little gem by pure chance on Sunday whilst looking for shelter for the 8 of us from the rain. The food was excellent, the drinks were reasonably priced & the visit was made by the excellent hostess who made the whole experience more enjoyable; she was very welcoming, very jolly and made you feel nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend it & we’ll happily return on a future visit to London!

A rarity to find a pub that hasn't been ripped apart and up dated. This Sam Smiths pub is not far from Tower Bridge on a corner. Its not a busy pub but has a steady flow of customers throughout the day. The dining room is upstairs, the food was excellent and not expensive. The beer was very well kept and reasonably priced too. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We found this pub with dining room today, Sunday 19th. The Anchor Tap is a few metres away from Tower Bridge. It is a Samuel Smith pub, serving good pub food at a reasonable prices. The young lady serving us was very jolly and kind, as well as efficient.

Very enjoyable lunch after a tour of the Tower of London and a stroll across Tower Bridge. The staff was charming and very helpful and the food was quite good. Topped off with some tasty beers, it was such a welcome break from the tours!
