Right. Lets get this straight. This is a BUDGET hotel. Not a luxury, all singing hotel. A hotel room for less than £80 in the city centre. Please. Don't expect luxury interior design. Bespoke fixtures and fittings or a doorman wearing a uniform with brass buttons on his coat standing at the door! This is how it is. The place is clean and comfortable, the staff overworked but pleasant. Don't be too quick to believe bad reviews people. Just what do the whingers and whiners expect for the money they pay? Its not rocket science. If you want a slick fancy hotel with tea and coffee/ fancy furniture etc etc...you have to pay for it! Rant over

Room Tip: We stayed in the basement (room 40). it was adequate. Clean. Quiet. Large room. A little dark though Dont believe all the bad reviews

This hotel would be burned to the ground in any civilized country and even some third world ones. Its beyond beeing a dump, the receptionist dont even wear shoes haha
The door was almsot falling down in the room, it moved 5cm into the room.
There was so much filth in there it looked like a dump. Carpets in bits dirty beyond hope.
Staff could barely speak English and were generally less than motivated, cant blame them really.
In short this must be London`s worst hotel, and there is quite a few dumps in London I know from experience.
And it wasnt even cheap. haha we will laugh about this for years, just hope no one gets sick after staying in this joke of a hotel.

Room Tip: Stay away, far away for your own good

The receptionist was very rude, there were no tea/ coffee facilities. The room was very dirty. There was even a bottle of cleaning fluid left lying around, with many acid attacks happening surely that is not a good idea. overall a terrible experience.

This hotel needs to be shut down
Awful .. 0 out of a 100

minimal old basic furniture , poor service ,no refreshments
Property needs renovating, potential safety and health hazard.
Unclean and old mattresses
I felt absolutely robbed and didn't even have a wash there ...I had one on the train coming home and was straight in the bath.
Had a couple of flea bites too

Stayed: July 2017

On the positive side the location, outside appearance, cost and cleanliness of the bedding / towels are all good.
on the negative side, the internal condition of the hotel is poor, the rooms basic, the bathroom facilities poor but the poorest part of the experience is the reception welcome / service which is frustratingly poor.
This hotel could be so good with a little investment but I would say it did what it needed to do in terms of supplying a cheap bed for the night.

Room Tip: Trust to luck and good luck !
