Impeccable service and the superior double room was fantastic. The location, close to Mayfair and just a short walk from Sloane Square and Chelsea, is very convenient. This was my second stay at the Knightsbridge Hotel (the previous time was in 2008) and I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to London. Highly recommended!

Tip: The single rooms are tiny, so even if you are traveling alone, it's best to book a double room.

A quiet hotel situated just of the Brompton Road close to Knightsbridge & S Kensington tube stations as well as good bus services.

Service excellent. The lack of a restaurant is a drawback but the room service, both the menu and service, makes up for it. The public rooms are very comfortable. There is an honesty bar.

We had a superior double room which was very comfortable.

The location is quiet

Not cheap but good value for money especially if you want quiet without hoards of diners and drinkers.

It looks and feels very nice indeed: it is a town residence done up to a very high standard. The public rooms are very nice, at least when they do not have to be shared with others who do not feel the need to speak quietly. But it is terribly expensive, and that's before the unincluded breakfast, or a cup of coffee, or whatever else, is added on, to which a 'discretionary service charge' (I'm not sure what discretionary means in this context) is added 'because it is written here'. And was wi-fi really twenty pounds per day ? Those who have no cause to care will not be bothered; others will view it differently. There was a small bottle of complimentary water. It was not really enough, it really wasn't.

Firmdale know how to do style. The Knightsbridge is just gorgeous. I had a very large basement room and it was appointed to the highest standard. Service was excellent throughout my stay. It was very niice to have breakfast in the study each day. It is an expensive place to stay but you get a sublime experience. Well done Firmdale.

My wife son and i visited the hotel at the beginning of September for the first time for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Our room was immaculate and the attention to detail was amazing.

The room had everything you would expect from a five star boutique hotel plus the little extras like the lovely card that was in the room from the manager on our arrival and the beautiful gift left in the room for our son.

The room service is very good quality compared with other London hotels, they even prepared a special meal for our son when requested which was impressive.

The staff couldn't be more helpful, arranging our car to be looked after and giving our son lots of attention which he loved. I had a great conversation with one of the ladies at reception which was so genuine and really made me feel so relaxed.

I would defiantly recommend the hotel to others looking for a hotel in a good location with faultless service, something which is hard to find these days. I will defiantly be visiting

We fell in love with firmdale hotels and will defiantly be back again soon.
