We wanted to get away for Christmas, so we decided to look at staying in London for once. The Knightsbridge Hotel certainly lived up to our high expectations. We upgraded to the Deluxe room, for the space. The rooms are extremely well appointed and the furnishings are really very comfy. We had a Christmas package as well, a gift on arrival, breakfast included, late check-out etc, and the service was amongst the best we've experienced.
Though they don't have a restaurant, our room-service on Christmas night was very tasty, promptly brought to our room and the prices were actually very reasonable. Our room was large, they have a big DVD library that you can choose from, and Knightsbridge and the shops and restaurants were a short stroll away.
Would highly recommend as a romantic getaway, and would happily stay there again.

Impeccable service and the superior double room was fantastic. The location, close to Mayfair and just a short walk from Sloane Square and Chelsea, is very convenient. This was my second stay at the Knightsbridge Hotel (the previous time was in 2008) and I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to London. Highly recommended!

Tip: The single rooms are tiny, so even if you are traveling alone, it's best to book a double room.

A quiet hotel situated just of the Brompton Road close to Knightsbridge & S Kensington tube stations as well as good bus services.

Service excellent. The lack of a restaurant is a drawback but the room service, both the menu and service, makes up for it. The public rooms are very comfortable. There is an honesty bar.

We had a superior double room which was very comfortable.

The location is quiet

Not cheap but good value for money especially if you want quiet without hoards of diners and drinkers.

It looks and feels very nice indeed: it is a town residence done up to a very high standard. The public rooms are very nice, at least when they do not have to be shared with others who do not feel the need to speak quietly. But it is terribly expensive, and that's before the unincluded breakfast, or a cup of coffee, or whatever else, is added on, to which a 'discretionary service charge' (I'm not sure what discretionary means in this context) is added 'because it is written here'. And was wi-fi really twenty pounds per day ? Those who have no cause to care will not be bothered; others will view it differently. There was a small bottle of complimentary water. It was not really enough, it really wasn't.

Firmdale know how to do style. The Knightsbridge is just gorgeous. I had a very large basement room and it was appointed to the highest standard. Service was excellent throughout my stay. It was very niice to have breakfast in the study each day. It is an expensive place to stay but you get a sublime experience. Well done Firmdale.
