Having been upgraded to an "Executive" room which was very comfortable and had a wonderful view across central London, my only disappointment was the shower which fluctuated in temperature from scalding to freezing and was impossible to control. The buffet breakfast was fine.

We stayed here for six nights and we were satisfied. I write "convenient location" with a caveat. If convenient for you is being right in the center, then no. You'll need to pay more for that. But for us, this worked out just fine. The Hammersmith tube station is only a five-minute walk away and from there you can connect to anywhere you want with no problem, We took the Underground every day we were in London and it worked out just fine. It's worth noting that since this hotel is in the "west" you're just about a 20-minute Underground ride from the West End if you're going to see a show. It's also a convenient location for your getaway since Heathrow is west of here. You can take the Hammersmith tube to connect for a train to Heathrow. Otherwise, if you are in our situation (early morning departure and lots of baggage) an Uber only cost us about 20 pounds and it was less than a half hour ride. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast was good.

Location is brill less than 5 minutes from tube station. Clean hotel. Quiet and good breakfast. Just avoid the busy breakfast periods. Hotel has bar and restaurants within the floors. Can't complain stayed with wife and two kids at a very reasonable price. There is some great restaurants in Hammersmith too. I would say don't be looking for 5 stars. It's more like a posh P inn.

We did not have a good experience. Stayed 4 nights with family of 4. There were a # of issues.

We were there during the summer with record temps. The hotel does not have central AC but uses compressors to blow in cool air. We did not stay at an airBNB specifically b/c most homes don't have AC but we figured a major hotel that caters to international clientele would.

I will credit Carol in the front desk for working with us during check in to find a suitable room (ie a working cooler so the room wasn't 80 degrees). We went through 4 rooms without finding a working AC. We had 2 rooms booked and fortunately 1 of them was working so we put our kids there so they could get some rest.

When we moved rooms, the room safe was broken. 2 calls for maintenance was not returned.

The rooms are large to its credit. There is a small refrig used to chill water (no icebox). bathrooms were adequate. 1 of the toilets in one of our rooms required maintenance to address.

Location wise - it is on other side of the main thoroughfare. close to the Underground station.Due to construction, it was not very accessible from main roads and had to walk around to the ground floor entrance.

customer service: we had a few positive experiences (as mentioned above) and at check out. We also had issues getting silverware from the downstairs. The place is busy and lobby is boisterous.

Amenities: I like the internet ready iMacs in lobby for general use. The fitness center seems adequate but my card did not allow me access. Only close to leaving did I see in the room materials that we needed to pre-register to use the room. If they had put a sign near the entrance, it would have been more obvious.

I was disappointed to read that you encountered some issue with us. Please let me apologise for the inconvenience this caused.

In regards to the air cooling we find this to be sufficient throughout the majority of the year however due to the extremely high temperature it was overwhelmed on few days during the heat wave. I am pleased to read that Carol helped to resolve things as quickly as possible.

This is a large hotel spread over 9 floors and probably caters to the business and family markets. That said, it is very well organised with minimal waiting time to check in.
Six lifts result in an efficient service.

The hotel does indicate there can be congestion for breakfast at certain times, but I did not experience any delay. Extensive choice of breakfast dishes.

The bar area is very pleasant and will be enhanced again by the outside plaza once the adjacent commercial building is completed.

Rooms have been refurbished since my last visit and are very nice. They are a well thought out design for a compact space. In many ways similar to the Novotel, Times Square, New York. Nice to have a walk in shower instead of a shower over a bath as is often the case.

Only a few minutes walk from the Hammersmith railway station to the hotel and buses are even closer.

Staff are knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with.

Top marks, as a hotel it achieves what is expected from it.

Room tip: Upper floor rooms, at a slightly greater cost with more amenities, offer great views over London
